Visual Customization¶
FollowCursor gives you full control over how your recording looks — from the background and device frame around the video to the effects shown when you click.
Backgrounds¶
The background fills the space around your recorded content. Choose from 84 presets organized into three categories:

Use the category dropdown in the BACKGROUND section to switch between groups. Click any swatch to apply it — the preview updates immediately.
Device Frames¶
Device frames add a border around your recorded video to make it look like it's displayed on a screen or device. Choose from 5 presets in the DEVICE FRAME section:

| Slim Bezel | Thinner dark border with a camera dot — a more modern look |
| Thin Border | Minimal dark edge — clean and understated |
| Shadow Only | No border, just a soft floating shadow — the video appears to float |
| No Frame | Edge-to-edge video — pure, no decoration |
Output Size¶
Control the shape of the exported video with the Output Size selector:

Click Effects¶
Every mouse click in your recording can be shown as an animated visual effect, making it obvious to viewers exactly where and when you clicked. Choose from 8 presets in the CLICK EFFECTS section:

Cleaning up accidental clicks
You can select individual click events on the timeline's Click track and delete them before export. This lets you keep a clean click effect preset while removing any unwanted markers.
Cursor¶
Your mouse cursor is automatically rendered into the exported video at the recorded position — you don't need to configure anything. It appears as an arrow cursor scaled to match the output resolution.
