Tutorials

These tutorials form one continuous workflow. Do them in order. Each builds on the state created by the one before it — agents from Tutorial 2 do the work in Tutorial 3, MCP in Tutorial 4 connects back to the runs you watched in Tutorial 3.

If you only have 10 minutes, do the Quickstart instead. It is the same loop in compressed form.

1. Create your project

Set up your project and point it at a repository — new repo with Squad, project template, or existing Squad repo.

2. Cast and review the team

Give your project a small roster with real charters, and use Consult to think before you commit.

3. Run a workflow

Capture work → Backlog → Ready → automatic pickup → inspect the run → ceremony close-out.

4. Connect external tools

Wire MCP for Copilot CLI, connect GitHub for the outer loop, and save your project as a reusable template.

When a tutorial references a concept you want to understand more deeply (the coordinator's pickup gates, the workflow engine, the storage layout), jump to the matching Product Guide page and then come back to the next step.
